Highly recommend for families
The owner went out of his way to accommodate us, like on our final night when we struggled to arrange a train to Aswan. He made sure we had a packed breakfast for our early start and even drove us to the boat dock himself.
It wasn't exactly a bargain but still reasonable considering the service and conveniences we got.

This property is in a perfect and fantastic location, so close to the Valley of Queens, Valley of workers, Tombs of Roy and Shuroy during the day and Colossi of Memnon in the evening-which is a stone's throw away, Egypt and the West Bank sites. Also, I reached Temple of Medinat Habu, located not too far from the hotel. The units are fashionable, good sized.

Staying at New Memnon exceeded my expectations. Sayed, the owner, was cute. He organized private activities for us through Luxor, ensuring a very reasonable price. The food was fabulous, with home-cooked meals prepared by a friendly staff member. Dining with Sayed was like sharing a meal with family. My room was clean, equipped with good air conditioning, and offered a superb view of the Theban hills. I appreciated the picturesque garden and the quiet surroundings. The only downside was the shower drain being slightly clogged, a minor inconvenience during our two-night stay. Despite that, the experience was good, with easy access to local sites and a nice atmosphere for relaxation.

Had fantastic experience.
That was beautiful and quiet hotel set in lovely area, not far from Luxor's emblematic monuments, as many sights as possible and archaelogical sites. The staff was amazingly kind and super-friendly, they were always available. I enjoyed the breakfast with a huge variety of tea and yogurt. The service here was excellent.

The food was excellently prepared and flavorful.
Be careful when using the hot water, as I mistakenly took a cold shower before realizing I had to turn it on first. The bathroom cleanliness could use some improvement, especially the balcony chairs that had droppings from the birds. I also found the Wi-Fi connection inconsistent, which limited my ability to plan my daily excursions effectively.

The shower was so small, it's like they expected me to shower in a phone booth. Really not what i expected. And the lack of power outlets is laughable. I thought my room would at least have a complimentary upgrade for my troubles, but instead, i was treated like everyone else. Disappointing, honestly.

New Memnon offers great service, excellent food, and comfortable rooms. Sayed and his team provided really good assistance throughout my stay, arranged airport transfers and transportation to local sites. The on-site restaurant served delicious meals, with a variety of fresh options for every meal. The hotel's location is ideal for exploring the West Bank's historic sites, including the nearby Colossi of Memnon and Medinet Habu.
